Anger....

I am so mad, 'crazy' with anger wit 'sumone' at dis very moment.... it's not simply 'angry' but more on hurt as well... I really dunno wat to do wit dis person...  well, rather than layan my kemarahan n kesakitan ati wit dis person, i better do sth else... mhiburkan diri sendiri... hehehe....

Well d kata2 n  quotes below did help actually...

"Anger is a short madness". It’s said to be a poison which will purge into your mind and destroy your good nature. Today, we look at anger as an absolutely normal reaction. Not a sole individual out there can claim that they have never been angry, despite being aware of the fact that anger is an extremely dangerous emotion to express. As a matter of fact, it can harm you more than your opponent. Healthy relationships can split wide open in a fraction of few angry moments. Some individuals can land into even bigger troubles, if they fall slave to anger.

Remember, the famous quote from bible, "A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control". Fortunately, there are numerous ways to control our anger. Most of the effective measures involve self control. For instance, counting numbers slowly blows away the anger present within us. Likewise, spending some time on motivational books can also be of great help. These books will help you channelize your anger for better purposes in life.

As such, anger is difficult to control because its reactions are very spontaneous. By the time you realize what you have done, it’s too late. "For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness".
When anger sets in, it invites negative thoughts, reactions and thereby unwanted actions. There is this famous quote which says, "Whenever anger comes up, take out a mirror and look at yourself. When you are angry, you are not very beautiful".

Meditation is a good resource to control anger. It will help you calm your nerves even in the most adverse situations. Controlling anger is not an overnight process, it requires one to harvest some efforts on regular basis to have control over their life and anger. Whenever you are angry, try to recollect what could go wrong if you allow your anger to take control over the situation. Anger sets the right gear for the inner devil within you to take actions without thinking about the negative consequences. This is what you need to realize, and try to avoid faceoff with your inner devil by evading yourself from getting into an angry state of mind.

Below are some quotes from few famous writers and philosophers on anger control.
"Speak when you are angry - and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret."
- Dr. Laurence J. Peter
"Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned."
- Gautama Buddha
"Anger is a signal, and one worth listening to".
- Harriet Lerner
"Never get angry. Never make a threat. Reason with people".
- Mario Puzo
"Always keep your composure. You can't score from the penalty box; and to win, you have to score".
- Bobby Hull
"The greatest remedy for anger is delay".
- Seneca
Take some time and think over the deeper meaning expressed within these quotes. It will certainly help you control your anger, and thereby improve your life. Remember, "Anger is only one letter short of danger".
